Hi" I don't know why the programme is called "I am a celebrity get me out of here" they should call it "I am a celebrity let me stay here". Im really enjoying it here although the weather can be a bit stuffy and I am dying for a breath of fresh air. A lot of the people in my group can moan a lot because of the weather and the strange insects but I am having fun and learning at the same time. Now I know why people are trying to save the rainforests because the animals, the insects, plants, trees, colours, technically everything is amazing.

The rainforest is really great I'm enjoying the climate,the landscape and the animals and insects. The climate is humid and it has been raining very heavily for short periods then the sun comes out. Since I've arrived in the rainforest and its been really hot in the middle of the day it rises to about 30 degrees Celsius and at night it falls to 20 degrees Celsius.
The landscape is amazing and there are huge trees nothing like what Ive seen before. I also heard that there are four layers in the rainforest. The emergent layer,the canopy layer, the understory layer and the forest floor layer. The emergent layer is a few extremely tall trees right at the top of the rainforest and they also get all the sun. They grow between 45-55 metres. The canopy contains most of large trees and grow between 30-45 metres. The understory layer has many of the plants that grow to the canopy level and gets very little sunlight.The forest floor layer contains hardly any sunlight and only plants adapted to very little sunlight can grow in this area also many forms of fungi grows in the forest floor layer.
